I need to print this out and post by my list of things to do this summer!

Sendacow

What fantastic ideas! This all looks great - thanks for sharing! Why not also have a go at the Build an African Farmyard http://www.sendacow.org.uk/africanfarmyard - ! Taking part in this project will enable your kids to carry out exciting learning activities at the same time as raising money for poor families in Africa using our pack of fun ideas, information and facts. A lot of fun :-) x

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment. I am honored to have you recognize my story stones on your blog, and would love to see pictures if you ever make them. Great list, by the way!

Cafe Mocha Momma

Wow! Great list of ideas! I'm amazed at the fact that we've actually already done a good percentage of those activities in the last few months. Maybe we're not so boring after all! Thanks for sharing!

Tim

Thanks for all the entertaining ideas. Since boys just love blowing things up, #62 was a big hit, mentos in coke bottles is just plain fun at any age!!

Holly White-Wolfe

Thanks for sharing this! I just posted a link to your wonderful article on my Sono-Ma Scoop list. Come check out Sono-Ma (sharing the art of mothering in Sono-Ma County) sometime to meet some of your new readers!

Thanks!

Great List!

Building sandcastles with the kids, huh, that sounds like fun! It's nice to take a break every once in a while. Sometimes, spending time together with kids can easily relieve stress. Yeah, it's about the social time, just like what you've said!

Michelle

This is such a great list of stuff that we can do. I like the I spy game. One thing that we played growing up that is a bit similar to that is the ABC game. You look at lisence plates and billboards and find the letters of the alphabet and go in order from a-z. Kills time on long road trips.

Castors

Do you have any ideas for things to do now its winter and so cold outside? That would be really helpful right now :-)
